Attila Vajda is one of the most famous sportsmen in Hungary. He was born on 17th March 1983 in Szeged.
He started canoe trainings at the age of eleven. His school years weren’t easy; besides school he had do his homework in the afternoon and train three hours each weekday. After six years of hard work Attila Vajda became a European junior champion in 2000.
Attila is a determined, cheerful and warm-hearted person, his friends can always rely on him. Despite his young age he has already competed in two Olympic Games and won a Bronze (Athen) and a Gold medal (Bejing) in the Canoe One 1000 m event.
The secret of his success is that he believes in himself and has a reliable bunch of people with his parents, manager and coach in the background. However, Attila has two trainings every day he is happy because his hobby is also his work at the same time and from September he has been studying at the University of Szeged. After some years he will be able to fulfill his other dream and can graduate as a dentist.
His most prominent aim in his sport career is to win gold medal(s) in the following Olympic Games in London 2012.
